Tampa Bay High Speed Ferry Plan!

It is important that all plans are reviewed and considered as we try to be most effective in transporting our residents around the Tampa Bay Area.  I have long thought that a ferry system should be in place somewhere out of the Apollo Beach area to MacDill AFB, St. Pete and Downtown Tampa, not only for commuters, but for residents to explore all of what the Bay Area has to offer.  This plan appears to address many of these items, mainly, in the beginning, taking commuters off the highways and creating a ferry from South Hillsborough County to MacDill AFB.  This would also help out real estate business in attracting more military families to consider our area.  Please check out the link below to get a more detailed description of the plans.  This Realtor® is excited at the possibilites this project could bring!

TECO Manatee Viewing Center

One of the wonderful things we have, here in the Riverview area is the TECO Manatee Viewing Center, which is open between November and March.  The manatees love the warm waters just off the discharge area of the Apollo Beach TECO plant.  Lately, there have been plenty of them to see, drawing nice crowds.  The best part of all of this, is, it is FREE to the public!
